AI for Children – EAI for KiDs Project Outreach Lecture

作为EAI for KiDs项目在中小学的首场推广活动，特邀欧洲科学院院士、中国科学院外籍院士Fausto Giunchiglia教授走进群贤小学，面向4-6年级学生开展AI科普讲座。

It is the first outreach event of the EAI for KiDs project in primary and secondary schools.The European Academy of Sciences Academician and Chinese Academy of Sciences Foreign Academician Fausto Giunchiglia is invited to Qunxian Primary School to deliver an AI popular science lecture for students in grades 4–6.

讲座围绕三个核心问题展开：人工智能是什么（让机器像人一样看、听、说、想）、我们每天都在产生哪些数据（从闹钟到刷脸、从计步到观看记录）、日常生活中如何保护个人数据隐私。讲座设置“AI小侦探”情境互动环节，通过“拍照换脸APP该不该上传照片”等生活化案例，帮助学生建立数据隐私保护意识。

The lecture revolves around three core questions: What is artificial intelligence (making machines see, hear, speak, and think like humans), What data do we generate every day (from alarms to facial recognition, from step counting to viewing records), and How can we protect our personal data privacy in daily life. The lecture features an AI Little Detective interactive segment, using real-life scenarios such as Should I upload my photo to a face-swap app? to help students build awareness of data privacy protection.

现场设置学生提问环节，与院士面对面交流AI相关话题。活动旨在以适合小学生认知水平的方式普及AI基本概念与数据素养，为后续EAI for KiDs送课入校及研学合作奠定基础。

  In the Q&A session the children may interact directly with the academician on AI-related topics. The event aims to introduce basic AI concepts and data literacy in a manner that suits the primary school kids' cognitive levels, laying the groundwork for future EAI for KiDs school outreach programs and further study tour collaborations.
